Stampede "Tid Bits"
We have compiled a few of most commonly asked questions about
the "Calgary Stampede" event.
PARADE
The Stampede Parade kicks off the festivities at 9:00 am on July
4th (approximately 2 hours). Free admission. The Parade begins at Macleod Trail (2nd Street S.E.) and goes west on 6th Avenue to 10th Street S.W., south to 9th Avenue and east on 9th Avenue to the dispersal area at 4th Street S.E.
STAMPEDE RODEO
The richest 8 seconds in rodeo. Catch the afternoon show starting at 1:30 pm on July
4th through 13th. It is non-stop action as these professional cowboys compete in the sport’s premier events.
CHUCKWAGON RACES
Your nightly entertainment package includes not only the thrills of the chuckwagons, but also the sheer exuberance of the Stampede’s Grandstand Show, featuring the Young Canadians. You’ll be treated to 90 minutes of song, dance, comedy and variety with headline acts from around the globe. July
4th - 13th at 8:00 pm.

Seniors (65+) $7.00, General (13-64) $13.00, Children (7-12) $7.00, Children 6 and under free, Canadian Funds. These prices may be subject to change.

MOTOR COACH PARKING
Motor coach parking is available along the north side of Stampede Park (14th Avenue S.E.) and south end of the Park near the
People Centre (25th Avenue S.E.). Parking is limited and on a first-come basis.
HANDICAP FACILITIES
Throughout Stampede Park the pathways are paved and where entrances to the building are not at street level, ramps are provided for wheelchair access. Handicap washroom facilities are found in most major buildings and hearing-impaired telephones are also located on the Park. Wheelchairs and strollers may be rented at Stampede Park, but as quantities may be limited, guests may wish to rent from the Red Cross or other agencies.
